We make “healthy” waaaay too complicated today.

→ What diet are you on today?

→ Are you avoiding lectins?

→ How about those nightshade veggies?

→ Are you afraid of coconut oil because you’ve been told it’s high in saturated fat?

→ Do you count carbs?

→ Are you taking melatonin because you’ve been told you need more sleep?

→ How about those toxic chemicals in your cleaning products? 

→ Stepped on a scale lately?

→ Did you get bad blood work results? How are you dealing with that? 

→ What side effects do you have from your prescription drugs? Take more meds for those?

It’s daunting. I know.

Trying to chase “healthy” can be overwhelming and so very frustrating. I get it 100%!

My entire business model stands on my belief to deliver information in a SIMPLE and DOABLE way. If we approach it from a place of simplicity, the goals are more obtainable and sustainable.

Health is simple. It’s not always easy.

  • You don’t need 3 gym memberships or 17 health apps on your phone.
  • You don’t need diet teas or powders to be healthy.
  • You don’t need to take 27 supplements to be healthy.
  • You don’t need to join an expensive program that asks you to buy into their packaged foods to be healthy.

Here at Shelley Can Help, I teach mastering the basics

Every day we have different struggles. Maybe you get a flat tire or your daughter needs a root canal. Maybe you win a $300 scratch off ticket or find out your spouse needs surgery. Maybe your child gets in a car wreck or you just got a promotion at work.

Every single day looks different. All the emotions from day to day can really affect what we eat. 

So, when those slip ups happen, I am here. HERE is where you can lean to help begin again.

Every day offers you a new chance to begin. Start here. Begin with the basics. 

Let me name a few:

  • Eat whole foods (not processed)
  • Take a walk
  • Get 8 hours of sleep 
  • Be sure to get sunshine every day (morning is best)
  • Drink your water 
  • Cut back on the toxic chemicals in your cleaning products & personal products
  • Be kind to yourself and tell yourself something positive every day

Try not to get overwhelmed with all the information out there. Don’t buy into all those sales gimmicks.

Eat your veggies, drink your water, and show yourself grace when you slip up.

When you have a good foundation of mastering the basics, that is when you can build upon it, do better, and grow.

Avoid going “all in” on a new diet or plan. Take the baby steps. Don’t leap. 

And when you slip up, go back to the basics and lean on me for guidance.
